Pricing questions.
What does "no monthly subscription" actually mean?
You pay nothing to keep PopLink running. We only earn when you earn: when a fan buys a drop or fulfills a tip, we take a percentage. If you have a quiet month, we make $0. You're never billed for "premium features" sitting unused.
Is there a fee on tips and challenge contributions?
Same percentage applies (2.5% Founding / 5% standard). No tier-based pricing: a tip is a transaction, the cost is identical to a drop sale.
Do I get refunded if a challenge fails?
Yes, automatically. If a challenge or project-funding goal isn't reached by its deadline, every supporter is refunded in full. You don't pay our fee on refunded transactions.
What happens to Founding 100 pricing if you raise?
Locked in writing. Even if standard pricing moves to 6%, 8% or 12% later, your rate stays at 2.5%. Forever. As long as your account is active.
Are there fees on top of your platform fee?
Yes, a payment processing fee applies (around 2.9% + 30¢ in the US, less in EU SEPA). PopLink's fee sits on top. We don't add hidden currency conversion markups.
Can I leave and take my fans with me?
Always. Export your supporter list, drop history and earnings ledger any time as CSV. Your domain (poplink.app/yourname) is yours. If you ever leave, we redirect to wherever you want.
